AITP-RTP Meeting – Learning Management Systems for Training and Staff Development - What's Now or What's Next?


Summary:

Our guest speaker, Tim McMahon, will cover the effective use of learning management systems and assessments, attributes they should possess, as well as a perspective on the current state of online training for healthcare organizations. Within this, he’ll touch on topics such as personalized learning, onboarding, virtual classrooms, and competency tracking.


About Our Speaker:

Tim McMahon is 20+ year sales and account management professional, having tenured history with IBM, Ingram Micro, and most recently, Relias, where he is an Enterprise Account Executive, servicing healthcare clients nationwide. In his current role, he expands and nurtures relationships around a SaaS-delivered learning management system (LMS) used for compliance, continuing education, recruitment, onboarding, and specialty certifications. Tim sold IT in the business partner channel for many years. His foundation in technology comes from an earlier career as a research and teaching biologist. He is a 21-year resident of the Triangle with a wife and 2 daughters.

AITP-RTP board members may take pictures or a video recording of presenters and attendees for various purposes.  However, the use of any kind of video recording or video streaming device from attendees is not permitted.  Registration to the meeting implies acceptance of this policy.
